I have worked in the area of Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising for many years. I have run PPC campaigns since at least the early 2000s, am the author of Pay Per Click Search Engine Marketing for Dummies, and have written about such issues in various other books and publications.
I have worked in all areas of Internet/digital marketing over the last 25 years, starting back in 1993. In particular, I have worked in the area of PPC and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for a long time (I also wrote SEO for Dummies, 7 editions since 2003). I’m the author of literally dozens of books about working and doing business online, such as the Complete Idiot’s Guide to the Internet (7 editions from 1993 – 2000), the Complete Idiot’s Guide to the World Wide Web (1995), The Official Netscape JavaScript Book, and many others.
In addition, over the last 16 years or so I have worked as an ecommerce consultant, providing consulting services in the area of search engines and digital marketing to Amazon, Avvo, Zillow, Lonely Planet, Tower Records, Honey Baked Ham, and hundreds of other companies.
