There are literally thousands of search engines and directories; you can find a small number listed lower down on this page.

There are also companies that will register you with many of these directories (note that most of the automated-submission systems do not get you into many of these directories!). Here's information about the firm I currently work with for directory registrations.

Here's what a submission order should look like (you have to provide the information between the [square brackets]):
